Matthew is the founder and principal dentist at No 45 Dental. After graduating in 1992 from Guy's Hospital in London, he has embarked on a career which has
allowed him to work and train in several countries, including the USA, New Zealand, Australia, Brazil, and the UK. In 2011 he was awarded a Masters in Restorative Dentistry from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, passing with distinction. His main areas of experience and interest are in Cosmetic, Implant, and Complex Restorative Dentistry, and he was one of the first dentists in the country to be involved in an exclusively all cosmetic group of practices in London in the late 1990s. He has subsequently worked in private practice carrying out cosmetic dentistry and complex restorative work and provides a referral service for other dental practitioners in West Sussex and Hampshire. Matthew is a member of the British Society for Restorative Dentistry, the Association of Dental Implantology, the British Society for Occlusal Studies, and the British Dental Association. Away from dentistry, Matthew is married to Elizabeth and has three young sons. He is a keen skier, holds a private pilot’s license, and spends too much time in the garden.
